Will it work on my phone?

    Does it have eSIM?

    Most recent phones do, including every iPhone since the XS. Dial *#06#: if you see an EID, yours does.

    Is it unlocked?

    On iPhone, Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock should say "No SIM restrictions". A locked phone installs the eSIM but will not connect with it, so ask your carrier to unlock it first.

    Bought in mainland China, Hong Kong or Macao?

    Many iPhones sold there have two SIM slots and no eSIM. Check the model before you buy.

What is a travel eSIM?

A digital SIM you download to your phone. It gives you mobile data in the country you are visiting, at local prices, with no physical card to collect or swap.

When should I install it?

Before you fly, over Wi-Fi: a day or a week ahead is fine. Installing does not start your plan. A data plan starts when it first connects in your destination; an unlimited plan runs on the travel dates you chose.

Do I keep my own number?

Yes. The eSIM carries your data; your usual SIM stays on beside it for calls and texts, so WhatsApp, iMessage and the codes your bank sends keep working.

Is there a daily limit?

No. A data plan is one allowance: use it all on day one or spread it over the whole validity. It ends when the data runs out or the days are up, whichever comes first.

What do I do when I land?

Turn the eSIM line on, choose it for mobile data and turn on Data Roaming for it. It connects through local networks, at no extra cost.

What if it does not work?

Tell us in the chat with your order number. If your eSIM never connected and no data was used, we refund it.
